What to Expect from the Airline Industry in 2022

Australia recently re-opened international borders to fully vaccinated tourists and visa holders, putting airline recovery top of mind.

While this is welcome news for the airline industry, following two years of disruption, cancellations and overflowing customer support lines, it’s not simply a matter of opening Australian borders and returning to normal. Though we might see an increase in customer demand for domestic flights, there’s a long way to go before we see pre-COVID travel patterns internationally.
