Meet Simon Br\u00e4u, Senior Strategic Consultant at PROS, and enthusiastic athlete! \ud83d\udeb4\u200d\u2642\ufe0f \ud83c\udfca\ud83c\udffc\u200d\u2642\ufe0f<\/p>\n

Simon works on our EMEA Sales team and partners with customers to uncover complex business needs and design tailored PROS solutions that deliver measurable results, maximize value, and accelerate success.<\/p>\n

Let’s get to know Simon!<\/p>\n

Tell us about your journey to PROS.<\/h2>\n

I used to be a PROS customer and later became a PROS prospect! I was deeply involved in project planning and solution design from the other side of the table. I was genuinely impressed by the PROS team. Their knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm stood out to me. That particular project never launched, but from that moment on, I knew I wanted to be part of the team.<\/p>\n

\"Simon<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy most about working at PROS?<\/h2>\n

I love talking to our customers, not because I enjoy hearing myself speak, but because I love the challenge of unraveling complex requirements. Every customer is different, and across industries, their solution needs vary wildly. No two engagements are the same, which means I never get bored!<\/p>\n

\"Simon<\/p>\n

Tell us about a cool project you are working on.<\/h2>\n

The coolest thing for me is seeing a customer I helped bring on board go live and start seeing the value of PROS. Just a few weeks ago, I led a workshop with one of our major European CPQ clients. Today, they\u2019re generating thousands of quotes per day across Europe\u2014and they\u2019re already seeing margin uplift and faster conversions. That\u2019s something I\u2019m really proud of.<\/p>\n

What do you do outside of work to recharge?<\/h2>\n

I like to stay busy and make the most of every hour away from my desk. I\u2019m an enthusiastic (if average!) athlete\u2014swimming, cycling, and running regularly. I even completed my first IRONMAN 70.3 this year. I also love sailing in the summer with my father and trying to keep up with my partner on the ski slopes in winter.<\/p>\n

\"Simon<\/p>\n

What are you a PRO at? What do your coworkers go to you for?<\/h2>\n

I\u2019m a PRO\u2026 at just giving things a go! I never shy away from a challenge and always roll up my sleeves to try something new. Whether it\u2019s taking on a new sporting adventure outside of work or tackling a curveball opportunity with a client, I\u2019m always up for it. I love co-innovating with customers and working closely with our product and science teams to dig under the hood of our solutions. Oh, and my lasagna is awesome!<\/p>\n

At PROS, I\u2019d like to think I\u2019m someone people reach out to when they need a little energy boost. Beyond that, I bring a strong commercial mindset paired with a personal approach and a critical eye. I focus on ensuring our solutions bring real value and tackle the challenges our customers truly care about.<\/p>\n

\"Simon<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the best career advice you\u2019ve ever received?<\/h2>\n

My dad had a saying he repeated constantly when we were growing up\u2014\u201cVon nichts kommt nichts.\u201d Roughly translated: \u201cNothing comes from nothing.\u201d As a kid, it drove me mad. But now, it\u2019s something I live by. Life isn\u2019t always easy, and challenges will come\u2014but if you don\u2019t dig deep, you won\u2019t achieve anything. I carry that mindset with me in everything I do.<\/p>\n
