Tell us about your journey to PROS.<\/h2>\n

Thanks to the recommendation of a wonderful friend of mine, I joined PROS nearly nine years ago as an intern. The day of my first interview, I remember seeing a long tunnel ahead and realizing I wouldn\u2019t make it on time if I walked\u2014so I paused, kicked off my shoes, and sprinted as fast as I could. It was a memorable start to my PROS journey! Since then, I\u2019ve had the chance to take on a variety of roles, each one helping me develop new skills, broaden my perspective, and prepare for the position I hold today.<\/p>\n

\"Negar<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy most about working at PROS?<\/h2>\n

The people and the amazing culture we\u2019ve built together. I\u2019m fortunate to work alongside incredibly talented, supportive, and passionate colleagues who inspire me every day.<\/p>\n

In my current role, I especially love the opportunity to connect directly with our customers \u2014 building strong partnerships, collaborating closely, and working together toward shared goals. It\u2019s truly rewarding to be part of their journey.<\/p>\n

Tell us about a cool project you are working on.<\/h2>\n

I\u2019m working on several exciting projects with customers around the world, and no two are ever the same. Each one brings new challenges, goals, and perspectives\u2014that\u2019s what makes the work so rewarding. It\u2019s hard to pick the coolest project\u2026 unless you\u2019re one of my customers reading this. In that case, congrats! Yours is the coolest \u2013\u2013 exactly the way it should be.<\/p>\n

\"Negar<\/p>\n

What do you do outside of work to recharge?<\/h2>\n

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my daughter and family, keeping her engaged and enjoying the little moments together.<\/p>\n

Lately, I\u2019ve found so much joy in simply watching her explore the world \u2014 the way she lives fully in the present and finds wonder in the smallest things. Observing her perspective reminds me to slow down, be present, and recharge. I also love planning travel, even though it has become a bit more challenging and adventurous since becoming a parent!<\/p>\n

What are you a PRO at? What do your coworkers go to you for?<\/h2>\n

I\u2019d say I\u2019m a PRO at hosting parties and bringing people together! I\u2019m also passionate about cooking, especially Persian food. For me, cooking and hosting are not just hobbies; they\u2019re ways to connect with people and create meaningful moments.<\/p>\n

At PROS, I enjoy being someone my coworkers can turn to when they need support. I try my best to help them navigate challenges, work through issues, and find solutions together. Whether it\u2019s sharing ideas, lending a listening ear, or collaborating on tough problems, I\u2019m happy to be there for my team whenever they need me. I\u2019m also often the go-to person for revenue-related topics and enjoy helping others better understand those areas.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the best career advice you\u2019ve ever received?<\/h2>\n

Growth doesn\u2019t come from doing the minimum. If you want to make a real impact, don\u2019t just meet expectations\u2014exceed them. Look for ways to add value, take initiative, and challenge yourself beyond your job description. That\u2019s where true progress begins.<\/p>\n
