Saudia Airlines, founded in 1945, is the national carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a member of the SkyTeam alliance. Saudia Airlines is playing a central role in supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the mission to become a global tourism destination. Known as the “Wings of Vision 2030,” the airline is focused on connecting the world to Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Eighty years ago, Saudia’s mission as the national flag carrier was to take Saudis to the rest of the world,” said Saudia Group Chief Marketing Officer Khaled Tash. “Today that mission has shifted. It’s now about bringing the world to Saudi.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivering on that vision required more than expanding routes. It called for a transformation of the airline’s revenue management capabilities to better anticipate demand, optimize its network, and support future customer-centric pricing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As one of the Middle East’s largest network airlines, Saudia recognized that its legacy leg-based revenue management system could no longer support its long-term commercial ambitions.

Forecast accuracy consistently fell short of the airline’s expectations, requiring analysts to frequently supplement system recommendations with manual inventory adjustments based on their market expertise. Without confidence in the forecasts, decision-making became increasingly manual, making it difficult to respond quickly to changing demand and competitive market conditions.

Saudia needed a modern revenue management platform capable of delivering the precision, scalability, and intelligence necessary to support its evolving business strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
