PROS Customers, Thought Leaders to Present at Professional Pricing Society Fall Conference in Berlin

 PROS to showcase cloud-based solutions for pricing, selling

HOUSTON and LONDON, Nov. 29, 2016 – PROS® (NYSE: PRO), the revenue and profit realization company, today announced its participation in the 12th Annual European & Global Pricing Workshops and Conference, hosted by the Professional Pricing Society (PPS). Featuring PROS customers and thought leaders, the event will be held Nov. 30 – Dec. 2 in Berlin at the Sofitel Kurfürstendamm Hotel. PROS will showcase its cloud-based solutions – PricingPRO and SellingPRO.

Embedding Price & Margin Management in the Commercial Organization’s DNA: Martin Housencroft, Head of Tools and Analytics at Clariant, will discuss the continuous improvement program that is not only driving improvements in revenue and profit growth, it is changing the way they operate. He will provide an overview on how Clariant, one of the world’s leading specialty chemical organizations, accelerated change and empowered employees to create a high-performing organization for its pricing and selling initiatives.

Change Management in Pricing: PROS Strategic Consultant Ben Blaney will discuss how pricing executives must embrace and drive change in their organizations to reach the full potential of their pricing engagements. He will offer the types of changes to consider and how each must be managed differently. Blaney will also offer actionable steps that consider organizational culture, accompanied by advice and guidance on how to make change sticky and ensure C-suite buy-in.

Value Measurement is the Moment of Truth: Mrinal (MG) Gurbaxani, a senior manager on the PROS Professional Services team in Europe and a member of its Global Customer Value organization, will show firsthand how pricing professionals can measure the actual value their initiatives deliver. Based on PROS experience of completing more than 900 implementations, he will outline how a comprehensive value-capture plan for each initiative outperforms those without a plan by up to 83% due to greater transparency and a company-wide focus on value measurement within a continuous improvement cycle.
