PROS to Showcase Big Data Applications for Pricing Effectiveness at Professional Pricing Society Conference in Las Vegas

HOUSTON & LAS VEGAS, Oct. 16, 2014 – PROS® (NYSE: PRO), a big data software company, today announced its participation in the Professional Pricing Society (PPS) 25th Annual Fall Workshops and Conference at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas Hotel. During the event from Oct. 21-24, PROS will showcase the breadth of its product portfolio, including its enterprise pricing platform and CPQ (configure-price-quote) and rebate solutions.

PPS conferences bring hands-on workshops and high-level speakers from the worlds of business and academia, providing a diverse environment for networking, training and reaching out to professionals in the pricing world.

The presentation will cover how pricers can take a leading role in driving sales growth by helping sales teams take advantage of key growth levers.

  • PROS Senior Vice President of Products Oscar Moreno will lead a breakout session titled “Real-Time Price Capabilities: The Key to Achieving Business Agility” from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Oct. 24. In the breakout, he will discuss how real-time pricing offers a viable way to execute the best pricing strategy today; how modeling and simulation can be used to measure impact; and why obvious attributes don’t always provide true insight into customer buying behavior.
