TAP Portugal Selects PROS Real-Time Dynamic Pricing to Synchronize Pricing, Availability Across Global Distribution Channels

Provides greater control, manages availability without increasing distribution 

HOUSTON and LISBON, Portugal, April 10, 2017 – PROS (NYSE: PRO), the revenue and profit realization company, today announced that TAP Portugal, the country’s flag carrier, has selected PROS Real-Time Dynamic Pricing (RTDP) to expand its global distribution and revenue management strategy. PROS cloud-based solution will enable the carrier to offer accurate, real-time price availability across its global shopping channels, while keeping booking rules and fares fully synchronized.

TAP Portugal, headquartered at its hub in the Lisbon airport, operates approximately 2,500 weekly flights to more than 80 destinations and 29 countries worldwide. It is also a member of the global Star Alliance and this year celebrates 72 years of service.

TAP Portugal is implementing PROS RTDP to deliver increased personalization through dynamic pricing science. By dynamically determining the best offer for every customer request, and providing up-to-date pricing and seat availability from every selling channel, TAP Portugal will provide its customers with a modern commerce experience.
