How a Houston tech company closed its gender pay gap

In an effort to boost equality and improve transparency, Houston-based Pros Holdings Inc. closed its own gap in pay between men and women in 2017, according to the company’s top management.

The effort to bridge the gap took about three years and included internal training and quarterly updates, executives said. Pros (NYSE: PRO) is one of Houston’s largest publicly traded technology companies by revenue and has around 1,066 employees globally.
