Texas Tech Pulse: PROS Wins Cloud Deal With Etihad Airways

Houston-based PROS, which develops software used by companies for pricing management, is in a big deal with Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates. Etihad and PROs said today that they are in a strategic agreement, where Etihad will migrate its PROS Origin & Destination revenue management product to the cloud. Financial impact of the deal was not announced. Etihad says it has been using PROS software for more than a decade. Etihad said it will also be migrating its partner airline, Alitalia, to PROS cloud solution. Etihad uses PROS for figuring out the best pricing for its airline tickets.
