You can now view dropdown lists of all available string values within any column, search across them, and multi-select values to filter your grid.

Smart CPQ: Quoting Made Simple

Guided Quoting with Custom Validation Rules

The new Personalized Validation Rules feature transforms how sales reps handle complex quotes. When reps enter values that violate predefined business rules, tailored error messages appear in the Error Browser—a centralized component that consolidates both technical and validation errors within a quote.

This feature supports complex rule definitions, such as comparing values between cells or fields, ensuring compliance with discount thresholds, pricing floors, and other deal-specific constraints. The result is accurate, complete quotes with faster deal cycles and more autonomous sales reps who can negotiate confidently.

One-Click Product Collection Addition

Adding large sets of products to quotes just became effortless. The One-Click Add to Quote feature lets users bulk-add products from a catalog collection—including all nested sub-collections—directly into a quote with a single action.

For complex quotes, this can reduce creation time from hours to minutes. It eliminates the need for custom scripts or manual imports while ensuring scalability for thousands of products, up to the line item limit.

Salesforce Certified Package Deployment

The Smart CPQ package for Salesforce now complies with Salesforce’s latest security standards. This certification ensures continued availability on the Salesforce AppExchange and positions Smart CPQ for seamless adoption of future Salesforce updates.

Subscriptions: Better Integration Through Public APIs

The new Subscription Public APIs address a key integration challenge and enhance the product’s extensibility. By making these APIs public, PROS increases interoperability and customization capabilities—a strategic step that aligns with the roadmap for better system integration. Approval Workflows for Every Stage

The new Approval Workflows feature introduces a flexible approval system within Rebate Management. Organizations can configure independent approval workflows for rebates, rebate programs, and payments, with each workflow customized based on specific fields like sales organization or product.

This structured approach improves oversight and provides stronger controls while facilitating input from sales, finance, and management stakeholders. The system supports auto-approval where appropriate and adapts to complex organizational structures.

Enhanced Payment Capabilities

Managing rebate payouts just became more transparent and flexible. The enhanced payment capabilities let you manage all payment tasks in one place, with automation that minimizes errors in payout calculations and provides built-in approval steps and payment history for audits and financial reviews.

The system now supports exception-based payments to efficiently address unique customer circumstances while preserving trust and strengthening long-term partnerships. With these capabilities, organizations can cater to specific rebate agreements or unexpected adjustments without disrupting overall processes.

Additionally, you can easily track what’s owed, what’s been paid, and what remains pending, to help ensure full financial visibility. This transparency helps maintain accountability and fosters stronger relationships with all stakeholders involved.

New Data Load Summary Alerts

The new Data Load Summary alert provides a daily summary of data load activities from Data Management and Smart Price Management that occurred in the last 24 hours. This proactive monitoring gives you a clear, concise overview of your data operations.

Enhanced Data Quality Reports

The enhanced Data Quality Report introduces a more informative and user-friendly dashboard experience. This update breaks down data loading issues by type—such as null failures or foreign key constraint violations—directly on the main dashboard. Users can now view a visual composition of error types per dataset and drill down into specific issue categories, improving both visibility and usability. This update complements existing data quality tools to help achieve seamless data integration.

Platform Services: Real-Time Synchronization

Instant Pricing Updates

The new real-time pricing data synchronization enables near-instant updates between Smart Price Management UI and the Real-Time Pricing Engine (RTPE). Changes made in the SPM Lookup UI automatically propagate to RTPE, ensuring downstream applications like CPQ reflect the latest data almost instantaneously.

This innovation delivers significant business value by improving sales velocity: sales reps can act on the most current data without delays, enhancing responsiveness to inquiries and boosting customer satisfaction. With sync times under one minute on up to 1,000 simultaneous pricing changes, manual interventions are eliminated, reducing errors and ensuring system scalability.
