Big data software solutions provider PROS is honored as Microsoft Application Developer of the Year partner at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.
HOUSTON–When it comes to partnering with Microsoft in an application development capacity, over the last year no one has done it better than PROS.
At its Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2013 here, Microsoft honored PROS with the 2013 Microsoft Application Development Partner of the Year Award. PROS, a Houston-based big data software company, was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
The Application Development Partner of the Year Award recognizes exceptional innovation from a partner that has delivered commercial or custom-developed solutions during the past year, whether it is a business application, Web portal, Web-based applications or rich client-user interfaces that run on-premise or in the cloud.
“Microsoft is pleased to recognize PROS as the Application Development Partner of the Year,” said Eron Kelly, Microsoft’s general manager of product marketing for SQL Server, in a statement. “Using SQL Server, Office, SharePoint and Dynamics CRM, PROS solutions are designed to deliver business-critical information in a familiar way and in real time. Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 3,000 entrants from 106 countries. PROS was recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services in application development.
