Texas Tech Pulse: PROS Buys French Software Developer Cameleon

Houston-based software developer PROS Holdings said early this morning that it is acquiring French software developer Cameleon Software. PROS said it will pay approximately $33M in cash for Cameleon, which develops configuration, pricing, and quote software for both business-to-consumer and business-to-business transactions. Cameleon Software is based in Toulouse, France. PROS said it was advised by Bryan, Garnier & Co. and TaylorWessing in the deal; Cameleon was advised by Financiere Cambon and De Pardieu Brocas Maffei.
