About the Speakers
Richard Blatcher: Director, Industry Solutions at PROS, manages the global go-to-market strategy for the Automotive and Industrial Manufacturing solutions. He has over 25 years’ experience in the industry originally based in Europe moving to the US in 2010. He spent the first part of his career in publishing and direct marketing managing the delivery of marketing and sales enablement services to many manufacturing and automotive blue-chip enterprises. He has also held EMEA and Global Marketing roles for $2Bn+ software company Autodesk including being responsible for launches of market disrupting SaaS software solutions into the manufacturing market.
Dr. Peter Colman is a Partner and shareholder at Simon-Kucher. Peter joined the London office in 2008 and leads the consultancy’s Technology/Industrials and Sales Excellence practices for the UK. Peter has generated strong profit enhancement results throughout his 20 years in consulting and industry. He specialises in Commercial Excellence programmes to address strategy, sales & marketing, pricing and product management topics. He has worked for corporate clients, private equity-backed companies and venture capital-backed start-ups across Europe and North America. Peter has written numerous articles for publications such as the Institute of Sales Management, Chartered Institute of Marketing, The Manufacturer and The Professional Pricing Society. He is a regular speaker / panellist at conferences, a Manufacturing Excellence Awards judge and is a Member of the Institute of Sales Management, Chartered Institute of Marketing and The Institute of Directors. Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Peter worked for digital marketing and technology consultancies focusing on eCommerce and Customer Relationship Management transformation programmes. Peter holds a PhD in Electronics from the University of Cambridge.
