Our latest Platform Release features many exciting highlights centered around our commitment to helping our customers outperform their markets, thrive in their industries, and exceed expectations. Our Winter Release continues to focus on the four pillars of innovation: artificial intelligence (AI), digital collaboration, self-service, and extensibility and ecosystem.
This release we’re focusing on improving your selling, pricing and rebate motions to provide a frictionless and consistent personalized experience to users and your buyers.
Data Management
Data is the foundation for innovation, growth, and success in every software product. To enhance the operational efficiency of PROS customers and streamline data flow across various applications within their IT ecosystems, our R&D team has directed resources to centralizing and simplifying data management. Our pioneering Data Management Platform offers a single source of truth for PROS customers, ensuring business data is consistent and accessible for all key functions. Its robust monitoring capabilities allow users to track, manage, and analyze data more efficiently.
Smart Price Optimization and Management (POM)
Price Optimization:
Our new user interface for Capacity-Aware Optimization (CAO) helps pricing analysts optimize resource utilization in air cargo and rentals, ensuring that limited resources realize their full revenue potential. Users will gain strategic insights into pricing and be able to leverage real-time data and predictive analytics to anticipate demand trends.
Price Management:
With our recent release, pricing leaders can now build more targeted pricing strategies in complex industries like oil and gas and chemicals. Users can define unique pricing elements for each price record and understand their pricing data output with clear communication of per-unit quantities.
Smart Configure Price Quote (CPQ)
Our CPQ improvements focus on our commitment to self-service. In the Smart CPQ Catalog Designer, we enable super users to be more efficient in the admin setup and troubleshooting of their models by allowing them to navigate log and configuration files much faster.
Managing quotes has never been easier with the most recent releases for quote management in CPQ. Sales reps can now personalize their quote layouts based on their user preferences. Drag and drop columns to fit the preferred layout and it will apply to every quote opened. Multiple users can access the exact quote simultaneously with their preferred column arrangements. Additionally, by introducing the ability to customize tooltips, sales users can better understand the required information for each field. This feature gives the admin direct communication with the sales force while allowing sellers to work independently. By defining the contextual scale grid display, sales users are not distracted by unnecessary data fields and can focus on what matters most when managing their quotes. If scale pricing is needed in their price agreement, the grid will open for that specific workflow.
Subscription Management
Subscription users can now add multiple subscription products to a quote in bulk using a combination of attributes. In sync with our Extensibility and Ecosystem roadmap theme, we are releasing subscription ramp periods for Dynamics 365 Sales, like what we did for Salesforce in the Fall 2024 Release, allowing the customer to provide long-term visibility into their subscription deals by negotiating terms for relevant periods of subscription contracts.
Additionally, users can track amendments and renewals more efficiently, ensuring they overlook nothing. By integrating opportunity creation in the CRM automatically, users can streamline the subscription contract lifecycle management process.
Smart Rebate Management
To help businesses gain a competitive edge, we continue expanding our rebate offering with an even more comprehensive view of integrated incentives and pricing strategies. This release introduces practical enhancements that streamline everyday rebate management operations:
- Centralized dashboard for program creation and oversight
- Straightforward templates for quick program setup
- Built-in incentive options customizable to specific business needs
Through automated workflows, the solution significantly reduces manual effort in tracking accruals and calculating payouts while minimizing customer issues. It ensures seamless integration with existing ERP systems, enabling real-time processing and efficient settlement of rebate programs.
Unlike standalone rebate solutions, the integrated rebate capability within the PROS Platform allows for seamless interaction with pricing processes and selling motions. This integration provides insights into how multiple incentives work together and impact pricing outcomes.
Fleet Application
The latest fleet management enhancement delivers a transformative user experience for the rental industry through an updated interface that aligns with modern efficiency standards. Users will now experience fewer clicks to accomplish tasks, and an improved user interface will drive a consistent experience across the PROS Platform.
PROS Platform Analytics
In line with our commitment to self-service, the enhanced Data Load Summary in our Data Quality Report (DQR) redefines how organizations monitor and validate data integration processes within Smart Price Management. It provides granular analytical insights into successful data transfers and visibility into potential issues to enable precise validation of data quality. With this enhancement, customers can self-identify and resolve their data challenges independently.
