PROS, EPP Sponsor Master Thesis Award
LONDON & BRUSSELS, April 11, 2012 – PROS® (NYSE: PRO), a world leader in pricing and revenue management software, today announced its collaboration with the European Pricing Platform (EPP) to support the European Best Pricing Thesis Award for 2012. The award, which carries a prize of €1000, is open to any student graduating from a European business school or university who has prepared a thesis on the topic of pricing. The competition will be judged by a panel of international pricing and business experts.
By highlighting the impact of pricing, pricing strategies, pricing instruments and tactics to overall sales performance and business success, PROS and EPP are focused on developing pricing as a strategic business discipline.
“As the need for pricing skills increases, students who focus on pricing are one step ahead when they enter the career market,” said EPP President Pol Vanaerde. “We are looking forward to seeing the innovative and creative ideas from students across Europe on the topic of pricing.”

In addition to the first-place cash award, the winner receives an EPP Pricing Training of choice and a range of pricing books. The second- and third-prize winners receive a 12-month free participation in the EPP portal site.
