Every year, our PROS kick-off the giving season by volunteering and creating meaningful impact in our local communities through our Global Day of Caring events. Each effort is an opportunity to strengthen our PROS community while uplifting the many others we belong to. Here’s a look at how our teams showed up around the world this season!
🧸 Houston | BEAR…BE A Resource
Our PROS in Houston partnered with BEAR (BE A Resource) to pack hygiene kits for babies and children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or are at risk and currently in the care of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. These essential kits provide comfort, hope, and a small sense of stability during an incredibly vulnerable time in a child’s life.
🎄 Quito | San Juan de Dios Shelter
Our PROS in Ecuador came together to support the San Juan de Dios Shelter by assisting with daily operations that provide care and stability to individuals in vulnerable situations. Volunteers helped with laundry, folded donated clothing, cleaned and disinfected trays for the community dining room, and served meals while offering hands-on support throughout the space.
🚂 North Carolina | Salvation Army Toy Drive
Our PROS in North Carolina showed up to support their annual Salvation Army Toy Drive, helping bring holiday joy and magic to children across the community.
🥫 Sofia | Church of St. Prophet Elijah
Our PROS in Sofia celebrated their holiday bazaar and volunteered at the soup kitchen with the Church of St. Prophet Elijah, supporting food distribution efforts and raising 1,866 BGN for the local community.
❤️ Toulouse | Restaurants du Cœur
This year, our PROS in France organized a food drive in partnership with Restaurants du Cœur, “Restaurants of Love,” an organization dedicated to providing meals and assistance to individuals and families facing hardship. Volunteers helped distribute food packages and serve hot meals, bringing warmth, nourishment, and compassion to those in need during the holiday season.
🎁 Miami | Lotus House Toy Drive
While the Miami office couldn’t gather in person this year, the team still found a meaningful way to give back by supporting the Lotus House Toy Drive. Lotus House serves women, youth, and children experiencing homelessness, and the toy drive helps bring comfort, joy, and a sense of normalcy to families during the holiday season. Thank you to our Miami team for showing that even when we cannot be together physically, the spirit of giving continues to shine through.
