Let's get to know Brooke!
Tell us about your journey to PROS.
Before joining PROS, I worked in children’s activewear licensing, designing for brands like Nike, the NFL and Reebok. I was always fascinated by the intersection of digital and physical products, and during COVID, I decided to pivot from Fashion Design to UX Design. It was a big leap, but I’m so glad I bet on myself. It paid off!
I joined PROS through the EveryMundo acquisition in 2021. It’s been such a rewarding journey going from a small UX team to collaborating with an experienced group of designers and researchers. I love the diversity of products we work on, and it’s an inspiring time to be here. AI isn’t just enhancing how we work; it’s redefining what’s possible for the future of personalized, user-centered design.
What do you enjoy most about working at PROS?
I love my work. Being part of a team that tackles complex challenges and values continuous learning is so important to me. Our leaders lead with empathy and transparency, and we’re encouraged to innovate and evolve constantly.
As a manager, one of the most fulfilling parts of my role is watching my team grow—seeing them step into leadership, sharpen their skills, and build confidence. Every day, I learn something new about how to be a better designer and a better leader.
Tell us about a cool project you are working on.
I’m really excited about the AI Agents we’ve built across the PROS Platform. Hearing customer feedback at Outperform 2025 was a great experience, and I’m looking forward to turning those insights into meaningful design enhancements.
Beyond AI, I’m also excited about how we’re incorporating illustrations into our products. Little touches like how a welcome screen looks or how we handle an empty dashboard can seem minor, but they’re powerful moments to build trust and create delight for our users.
What do you do outside of work to recharge?
Traveling and experiencing new cultures is one of my favorite ways to reset. I try to fully disconnect on vacation so I can return reenergized. When I’m home in Miami, I love hosting dinner parties with friends or staying active with pilates, tennis, padel or long walks.
What are you a PRO at?
In my personal life, I'm a PRO at cooking! I love experimenting in the kitchen! Homemade pasta and pizza nights are always a hit with our friends.
At PROS, I’m often the go-to for bridging communication gaps, advocating for users and improving collaboration across teams. I’m passionate about creating better product experiences and helping teams align and move forward. When building digital products, it’s easy to get stuck perfecting the details. I encourage our teams to get early feedback by putting designs in front of users sooner, then iterate from there.
How has mentorship influenced your career? How have programs like CareerCompass at PROS impacted you?
Mentorship has been instrumental in my career growth and is a powerful way to build meaningful relationships. Throughout my career I’ve prioritized relationship building to find common ground, foster empathy, and learn from others. We’re so fortunate at PROS to have programs like CareerCompass that make it easy to connect with mentors across the organization. Through the program, I was paired with an incredible mentor who offered fresh perspectives and invaluable guidance. They helped me better understand what it means to be a people leader at PROS, sharing proven strategies for career planning and navigating crucial conversations. In a global company, it can be difficult to organically connect with people outside of your day-to-day role, making CareerCompass a great way to expand your network and gain expert advice.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I recently heard a quote from a Harvard Business School professor: “There’s the saying of dress for the job that you want. But it’s more than dress, you need to behave like the job that you want.”
Early in your career, it’s easy to focus only on what’s in front of you. But real growth comes when you take initiative and go beyond what’s expected. If you consistently operate at the next level, you won’t need to convince anyone you’re ready—you’ll already be showing them.
