Meet Coline Bensaïd, Lead Payroll Specialist in EMEA and PRO crafter! 🪡
Coline manages payroll operations across France, Germany, Ireland, and the UK, ensuring every pay slip is accurate and delivered on time. She works closely with HR, Finance, and external partners to process data, resolve issues, and maintain compliance.
Let’s get to know Coline!
Tell us about your journey to PROS.
I’ve worked as a payroll specialist my entire career, and I truly enjoy it. In 2016, I was looking for a long-term opportunity and found PROS. I started part-time, only supporting France, but over time proved my value and was entrusted with more responsibilities. Today, I’m part of an incredible payroll team in EMEA that fully supports one another in our day-to-day. I feel very fortunate to do work I love, surrounded by such great people. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
What do you enjoy most about working at PROS?
What I love most about PROS is the people. It’s truly a great place to work where everyone treats each other with respect and care. There’s also a strong sense of community and volunteerism that I deeply appreciate. Every day, I feel valued, trusted, and supported in what I do.
Tell us about a cool project you are working on.
In my personal life, I’ve been challenging myself to make my own clothes. It takes patience and skill, and I’m learning as I go. Lately, I’ve been considering taking an official class to master the basics and advanced techniques so I can take my sewing from pretty good to near perfect.
What do you do outside of work to recharge?
I’m a mother of two boys, which keeps me quite busy! When I need some time to recharge, I like to ride and care for my half lease horse, Féérie, a big gentle broodmare who’s incredibly sweet with me. I also have a bit of a craft addiction — I sew and knit A LOT. I’ve made shirts for my boys, blouses, and even knitted mittens for myself! I thoroughly enjoy my hobbies. Both riding and crafting have connected me with amazing people, both in person and online, which I find incredibly fulfilling.
What are you a PRO at? What do your coworkers go to you for?
I love building Excel sheets. When I notice a task that’s too time consuming or prone to errors, I find a way to automate it. I can spend hours perfecting a spreadsheet that will save countless hours later. Some of my masterpieces have even followed me from previous jobs because I just couldn’t let them go.
Lately, my coworkers have been coming to me for advice, which I’m always happy and honored to give. Life outside of work matters, and it’s nice to know that they feel they can always come to me for a good conversation or space to decompress.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I’ve ever received is to be the person people trust. In my role, that means being reliable, keeping things confidential, and always following through with my word. When people know they can count on you, everything else becomes simpler and naturally falls into place — collaboration, problem solving, and even career growth.
