Meet Danny Goldman, Senior Customer Success Manager and avid Chicago sports fan! 🧢 ⚾️
With nearly a decade at PROS, Danny helps airline customers maximize the value of PROS solutions by guiding adoption, solving challenges, and deepening strategic relationships through his calm leadership and deep industry expertise.
Let’s get to know Danny!
Tell us about your journey to PROS.
I came to PROS after graduating from Georgia Tech and started in the Professional Services organization, implementing our RM solutions for airline customers. I worked as an implementation consultant and project manager for five years before moving to the Customer Success (CS) organization. I made the move to CS to expand my customer-facing experience and deepen my expertise in vendor-customer relationships. I thoroughly enjoy working with customers and hope to continue in roles where I can keep building those relationships.
What do you enjoy most about working at PROS?
I really enjoy the people I get to work with every day. As many know, that can make or break someone’s experience. This includes not only my PROS colleagues but also the customers I interact with on a daily and weekly basis.
My favorite part of my role is that I represent the key channel through which PROS and our customers exchange information and solve problems. It makes my day-to-day and week-to-week experiences dynamic, and I get to learn something new every day.
Tell us about a cool project you are working on.
I’m currently helping multiple customers adopt the PROS Elasticity Forecasting functionality. While each airline has a unique network and business model, the same key metrics and underlying objectives apply. It’s great to be part of the cutting-edge science driving our industry forward.
What do you do outside of work to recharge?
On a day-to-day basis, I make sure I get off my butt by taking our dog Wrigley for walks around the neighborhood. I also love spending time with family and friends. I grew up nearby and still have a large contingent in the area that my wife and I see regularly. I’m a die-hard Chicago sports fan and enjoy watching my teams—win or lose.
My wife and I also love traveling, especially to places with great outdoor adventures and delicious food. Last year, we went to Ushuaia, Argentina—the southernmost tip of South America. This year, we have a trip planned to Greece and are excited to explore even more.
What are you a PRO at? What do your coworkers go to you for?
I’m a PRO at staying calm and collected in stressful situations. In general, I’m an even-tempered person, which fits my role well. Sometimes, our customers face critical incidents that can create stressful environments, but staying levelheaded helps both our customers and internal teams navigate those situations effectively.
Because I’ve been at PROS for nine years, I have a lot of knowledge about our processes and people. I’m a go-to resource for connecting folks within the airline side of our business and helping others navigate our internal ecosystem.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Try to treat each day like you’re new on the job. With that mindset, you stay curious, eager to learn, and more likely to spot opportunities for innovation in areas that might otherwise be overlooked.
