Meet Kaylee Gallagher, Senior Pre-sales Engineer at PROS, bookworm and proud Baylor Bear!

Kaylee helps bring our CPQ demos to life, setting them up for our Solution Consultants and teaming up with partners to get CPQ up and running in their environments so they can boost their own sales efforts too.

Celebrating an incredible 10-year tenure at PROS, Kaylee shares what keeps her inspired and why PROS has been the perfect place to grow her career.

Let’s get to know, Kaylee!

Tell us about your journey to PROS.

I feel like I hit the jackpot by joining PROS right out of college—Sic 'em Bears! I initially started in a different department, but after learning about the Pre-sales Engineering team’s work, I knew it would be a great fit for me. That was eight years ago, and I’m so grateful for how everything worked out. I truly appreciate the flexibility and dynamic nature of my role.

What do you enjoy most about working at PROS?

Giving back to the community is very important to me, and during my time at PROS, I’ve had many opportunities to do just that. The emphasis PROS and the people here place on making a positive impact remains my favorite aspect of working here.

What I love most about my current role is its constant evolution. The work we do today looks very different from when I first joined the team. Continuously solving new challenges and creating fresh demos keeps the role both interesting and enjoyable.

Tell us about a cool project you are working on.

I recently worked on a demo where we installed our managed solutions into a Microsoft partner’s Dynamics environment. It was exciting to play a small role in that partnership, learn about their initiatives and showcase the capabilities of our software.

What are you a PRO at?

I enjoy crocheting—a skill my grandmother taught me when I was younger and one that I’ve kept up with ever since. While I wouldn’t call myself a PRO, I’ve made baby blankets for family and coworkers over the years. Right now, I’m working on a sweater!

At work, my coworkers often turn to me for help with Microsoft Dynamics and troubleshooting CPQ errors, particularly in the SBL. We collaborate effectively, leveraging each other's strengths, and everyone is always willing to return the favor when needed. I’m known for being a PRO at CPQ logistics and corporate sales demos. Over the years, I’ve worked on numerous pursuits, gaining valuable experience along the way.

What's the best career advice you've ever received?

Always be a good and accountable teammate. At the end of the day, we all share the same goals, and you should want to see everyone succeed across the board.
