Tell us about your journey to PROS.
Before joining PROS, I spent a year traveling the world and have now visited 5 out of 7 continents. While searching for opportunities on LinkedIn, I came across my dream role in my favorite city. After researching PROS, I saw how well I aligned with the company—an innovative environment that values growth, encourages internal mobility, and has a strong track record of retaining talent.
Prior to my year of traveling, I worked in the education system. I spent several years in the classroom before moving into professional development, where I focused on creating new ways to engage learners. That experience not only fueled my passion for learning and growth but also gave me the skills and perspective to successfully transition from education into the tech industry.
What do you enjoy most about working at PROS?
I really enjoy being part of the team at PROS and the relationships that are being built here. In just a few months, I’ve already learned so much—not only about the company but also about AI and its applications. The HR team has hosted several valuable learning sessions on AI, which I’ve found both engaging and insightful. I think PROS does an excellent job of educating employees on different areas of technology, which in turn helps create opportunities for internal mobility and growth.
One of the aspects I enjoy most about my role is collaborating with other departments to understand and fulfill their learning needs. I find it rewarding to design and present content in a way that is meaningful and ensures that knowledge is actually being absorbed and applied. Helping employees grow through learning is something I’m passionate about, and being able to contribute to that at PROS has been an exciting and fulfilling experience.
Tell us about a cool project you are working on.
Right now, I am working on developing the PROS Emergent Talent Program, which is designed to support employees who are new to the workforce or just starting their careers in the industry. This program includes all entry-level positions at PROS and serves as a foundation for personal and professional growth.
Through structured training, valuable resources, and ongoing mentorship, the program helps participants build the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive in their roles and create long-term career success at PROS.
What do you do outside of work to recharge?
I absolutely love my friends—I’m always with my girls, and one of our favorite things to do together is explore new restaurants in Houston. Taste Bar and Traveler’s Table are at the top of our list. When I’m not out with them, you’ll probably find me reading; I’ve already finished 68 books this year and can’t seem to put them down. Lately, I’ve also discovered a new passion for pickleball. Since I played college basketball, I wanted something that still keeps me active and brings people together, and pickleball has been the perfect fit. And because I’m always up for new experiences, I make time to travel whenever I can—most recently, I spent two weeks in Asia exploring Japan and Thailand. And of course, I love playing with my 5-year-old Pit Bull Kole! (Named after J. Cole, my favorite Rapper.)
What are you a PRO at? What do your coworkers go to you for?
I’m a pro at making people laugh through my storytelling, I love a good YAP session and can always get everyone cracking up. I’m also pretty skilled at being my friends’ personal “talent agent.” People come to me all the time to help plan their trips, and I absolutely love organizing every detail. There’s something satisfying about spreadsheets filled with hotel names, links, and color-coded planning, it’s my kind of fun.
At PROS, my coworkers often come to me for help organizing learning programs for both their teams and our customers. I’m skilled at the administrative side of learning—when someone shares their needs, I can quickly find the right training and resources. I’ve supported various teams on learning initiatives and presentations, and I’ve worked with managers to develop skills and share key insights. People often joke that I’m like a host or MC during presentations because I bring energy and keep everyone engaged.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My dad has always advised me to keep track of what I contribute—whether it’s in emails, meeting notes, or quick recaps to my manager. He taught me to present my wins confidently yet humbly, framing them as a story where I just happen to be the hero.
