Meet Victoria Huynh, Senior Director, AI Research, at PROS and 3D origami extraordinaire.

Victoria transformed her love for math into a career in AI, leading teams that develop the Smart Modules powering PROS AI Solutions. A champion of mentorship and knowledge-sharing, she’s paving the way for future women in STEM.

Let's get to know Victoria!

Tell us about your journey to PROS. What inspired you to pursue a career in science?

I always wanted to be a math teacher because I was good at math and had incredible teachers who inspired me in high school. A classmate suggested I apply for a Scientist position at PROS, as it aligned well with my major in Applied Math. That opportunity marked the beginning of an amazing journey—one that allows me to apply my love for math every day.

What do you enjoy most about working at PROS?

There's never a dull day at PROS—there are always new challenges to tackle and innovative technologies to explore. My favorite part of my role is working with my team and witnessing their passion for solving complex problems.

Tell us about a cool project you are working on.

I'm currently collaborating with different teams on the new AI Studio framework to bring the Overbooking Smart Module to production in Q1. Air Cargo customers will be the first users, benefiting from a solution that considers how their customers book, cancel, and ship their products.

What are you a PRO at?

If you need to develop a standard process or establish a new structure, I’m your go-to person. I’m a strong advocate for documenting knowledge and sharing it across teams, enabling us to learn from each other and accomplish tasks more effectively.

Outside of work, I enjoy creating new 3D origami. I love designing new pieces, and you can always find me folding origami in my free time. It feels like solving a math puzzle—figuring out where each piece should go.

What advice would you give to other women and girls pursuing a career in science?

It won't always be easy, and at times it may feel lonely, but it is always worth it. You'll be paving the way for future generations of girls in science. And always stay curious—keep seeking new knowledge.
