Revenue Management Through AI/ML
The last few years have seen a host of vendors offering AI-based Revenue Management and Pricing systems. The breakthrough in AI/ML seems to be driving these initiatives with little regard to all the learnings we have had over half a century in Airline Revenue Management Research. The presentation outlines the potential pitfalls an airline needs to be careful about rapid adoption of the new technologies without due diligence and recommends an RM evaluation framework for gradual progress with minimal risk.
