PROS Receives Diversity in Business Award

PROS is proud to be selected as a recipient of the Houston Business Journal’s Diversity in Business Awards for our exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and our contributions to actively take the lead to promote and champion the business case for diversity within the community.

“At PROS, we believe that cultivating an inclusive environment – through diversity of thought, backgrounds, cultures, and experiences – is key to driving personal and professional growth, innovation, and business success,” said Nikki Brewer, Chief People Officer at PROS. “This award is a celebration of our incredible teams here at PROS who continue to foster our inclusive culture by living our values of Ownership, Innovation and Care, every day.”

From holistic recruiting, equitable people processes and inclusive benefits to transparent diversity reporting and active Employee Resource Groups, DEI is embedded in everything we do across PROS.

One of our favorite events, PROS Learn & Connect series, celebrates and educates, bringing together the diverse cultural backgrounds of our people to help us all learn and grow. From Lunar New Year, PRIDE and Juneteenth to International Women’s Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, National Intern Day and Diwali, we continue to build personal connections and deeper understanding of others, cultivating a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) – inclusive groups open to all PROS colleagues – help our people sharpen their skills, grow their network and learn new things. Our ERGs support the representation, advancement, inclusion, and allyship of women (BLAZE), young professionals (YoPROS) and Black (EMPOWER), Hispanic (UNIDOS) and LGBTQIA+ (PRIDE) communities at PROS and give employees a voice in and outside of our organization. Check out our ERG videos to get a glimpse into these groups and hear from members about personal insights they’ve gained from being a part of this community.

Outside of our ERGs, we also create opportunities for employees to connect, network and learn from each other, through our Wellbeing Innovation Team, PROS Pals, and PROS Talks (our internal version of TED Talks) and Open Mic leadership series, to name a few. These employee-led groups provide opportunities for our people to get involved and connect with peers, leaders and mentors across all departments and global regions of PROS, with a variety of diverse experiences, cultures, skills, and backgrounds.

Interface, a passion turned podcast, amplifies Black voices by connecting technology and culture through meaningful conversation. Powered by PROS ERG EMPOWER, the Interface Crew explores the journeys of professionals in tech from personal stories and career advice to what companies can do to increase Black talent in the tech space. Check out the podcast and follow the crew on Instagram.

We care about our communities and making a difference where we live and work. Each year, our global PROS colleagues receive 16 paid hours to volunteer and give back, dedicating time for philanthropy. We’re proud to partner with incredible organizations like Adopt-a-Family, Kids Meals, Montrose Grace Place and Junior Achievement, and host charitable events like our popular Charity Bazaar in Bulgaria.

You can read more about our inclusive culture and DEI programs and initiatives in our 2022 ESG report and on PROS.com.

In addition to being recognized as an Outstanding Diverse Organization, PROS is thrilled to be recognized as a 2021-22 Great Place to Work® and named as one of Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Texas™, People 100 Companies That Care, a Most Loved Workplace® and Cigna’s Healthy Workplace Designation.

While we’re proud of our inclusive culture, it’s always a work in progress. We are committed to learning and evolving to deliver the best experience possible for our people. We continue to grow our programs and develop greater awareness within our global organization and communities.

And we’re always looking for talented people to join our team! Visit our Careers page to learn more about our award-winning culture and open positions at PROS.
