PROS to Showcase Smart Applications for Pricing and Selling at Latin America Professional Pricing Society Conference

HOUSTON, Sept. 15, 2015 – PROS® (NYSE: PRO), a big data software company, today announced its participation in the Professional Pricing Society (PPS) 2nd Annual Latin America Pricing Workshop and Conference. The event, scheduled for Sept. 16-17, in São Paulo, will be held at the Sheraton São Paulo World Trade Center Hotel. PROS will spotlight the breadth of its enterprise product portfolio at the event, including smart applications for pricing and selling.

PROS and HabberTec, a business solution value-added reseller (VAR) and PROS partner, will showcase demos of PROS products. The companies will discuss their joint work in the Latin America region and collaboration with customers, including BRF Brasil Foods.

BRF Brasil Foods Pricing Manager Fabio Freitas will deliver a keynote address on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 3:30 p.m. Titled “Optimizing Pricing in a Highly Dynamic Market,” Freitas will share how to choose the most profitable channels, foster cross-team collaboration, drive insights from buying behaviors and set the right prices.

PROS Strategic Consultants Caleb Jones and Daniel Wolf will conduct a full-day workshop, titled “Best Practices in Pricing Analytics.” Their presentation, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 9:00 a.m., will explore dashboard design strategies, including aesthetics and ergonomics. Attendees will learn how to construct analytics charts aimed at composition, comparison, relationship and distribution analysis.
