Mario Cruz, the head of revenue management of TAP Air Portugal.
I have been in the working in the airline industry for more than twenty years. I started my career in El Salvador.
Originally from El Salvador.
And after ten years, I decide to, know, about other areas of operation airports, but then with the integration of Avianca, I had the opportunity to come back to revenue management as head of revenue management in Colombia, then with the restoration plan in TAP.
It’s, impressing.
They invite me to participate in this project, and I said, yes. Why not? So now I am one year and a half ago part of the TAP team.
I have worked with the PROS for many years, you know, not need to have, but also in other companies. And we use, the, the suite, the complete suite for, for all products. We use RMA. We use GSO. In RTDP, and, and, and, of course, for a, for a network carrier having spoke airline, like, TAP It’s extremely important. The O and D optimization. So, during twenty twenty two, we we we have the tools, but we’ve we’ve rebuilt the processes and and fortunately, with the demand recovery, we were ready, to extract the maximum value from, from from the PROS tools, with the team and with the process.
And, and, and, and I think all this, new development that, process we’re working on, like, willingness to pay dynamic pricing I think we are very aligned with what the airline industry needs. And it’s very aligned with our objective in TAP.
