About the Speakers 

Karl Isler is a freelance consultant on pricing, revenue management, and distribution for airlines and IT providers.

While at Swiss International Air Lines, he developed the concepts for the integrated O&D pricing and inventory control strategy. He designed the dynamic pricing methods which are used by the Lufthansa Group Airlines today. He is author of several articles dealing with dynamic pricing and airline revenue management.

He received his Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics from ETH Zurich. Before joining Swiss Air in 1993, he was a post-doctoral research fellow in particle physics and quantum field theory at the Universities of Montréal and Utrecht.

Justin Jander is a director of product management for travel products at PROS. Justin has been with PROS for 10 years, all within the product management group, focusing on the travel products including revenue management, distribution, and cargo products. During that time, he has overseen the continuous improvement of the PROS O&D product, the flagship product at PROS. These improvements have been through new features and functionality that improve the industry-leading Science as well as enhancements to the way analysts use the system. In order to understand the needs of the always-changing industry, he has worked with airlines across the world, which allows him to understand the business problem and translate that into features that can improve the products. His most recent accomplishment includes the successful launch of the new PROS RM Editions product, which includes launching RM Essentials and RM Advantage.

Justin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Science degree in Statistical Science from Southern Methodist University.
