Raquel Portillo: My name is Raquel. I work in the distribution department and I’m in charge of the NDC implementation in Air Europa.

Question: What PROS solutions is Air Europa using today, and what key projects does PROS support?

Raquel Portillo: Okay, in the distribution department, we are using the NDC solution from PROS and we are in a pilot project with them, and also with a startup agency in Spain.

Question: Why did you choose PROS as a partner?

Raquel Portillo: We choose PROS as a partner because we are already working with them with other tools in our company and we already having a relationship with them. So, we found that they are a key partner for us too.

Raquel Portillo: PROS is giving us the opportunity to be more flexible on the options that we have on this tool, to be more able to customize the tool and with that to meet our needs depending on the partner that we implement with.

Question: Why did you choose PROS NDC solution, and what outcomes do you expect from the implementation?

Raquel Portillo: We found some limitation on the NDC-PSS based one that we used at the beginning. So, we needed to diversify with another IT provider. So that’s why we choose the NDC PROS solution. And with that we expect to have more room for our customization and to amplify our possibility to provide differentiation to the partners and to have more options for them to be able to implement with us.

Raquel Portillo: This solution is going to provide us the possibility to add some features that the other solutions don’t allow us as can be the government discounts that we need in Spain, for example. And this is really important for our market, so we are going to be able to provide this to the agencies by using this NDC PROS solution.

Question: What is behind the successful partnership of PROS and Air Europa?

Raquel Portillo: I think we have a really good relationship with them. It’s a long time that we work together already with PROS, and they know how we work, our needs, and PROS is always open to innovation, open to customize. So, this is really helpful for us because we sometimes have very special needs that we need to get.
